Project Swann unfolds as a considered dialogue between past and present, where the existing form is both respected and quietly reinterpreted. A robust material palette—brick, timber, and finely detailed metalwork grounds the home, while subtle interventions introduce moments of lightness and clarity. Gentle curves in the brickwork soften the geometry, guiding movement through the site and framing views both inward and outward. Internally, spaces are resolved with restraint, allowing texture, proportion, and natural light to take precedence. Openings are carefully positioned to draw the landscape into the home, while the elevated rear form extends outward, capturing light as it shifts across the day. The result is a cohesive composition where craftsmanship and continuity are held in balance, and the architecture settles naturally into both its site and its history.
